Cleaning and Security Deposit
A $500 refundable deposit is due at the same time as the final balance payment. This deposit covers the replacement of lost and/or damaged items (inventoried by the property manager). Move In and Move Out cleaning is included in the cost of the rental, however excessive damage or wear to linens and/or upholstered furniture will be deducted from this deposit. [Daily maid service is not included in the normal rental, but may be available at an extra cost with prior arrangement.] Normally the Cleaning and Security deposit will be refunded to the client within five (5) days of their departure.

Payment Methods: Casa Pocito accepts US Bank checks denominated in US$ or wire transfer directly to our account. Casa Pocito also accepts credit cards through PayPal. There is a 4% surcharge for payment by credit card.

Cancellation policy
In the event that Tenant cancels the reservation for any reason, a $200 cancellation fee will be charged. If the cancellation occurs at least thirty (30) days prior to the Check-In Date and Owner is unable to re-rent the Rental Property by Tenant’s Check-In Date, Tenant will be liable for fifty (50%) percent of the rental costs. If the cancellation occurs less than thirty (30) days of the Check-In Date, all monies paid by Tenant will be forfeited if the Rental Property is not re-rented by the Check-In Date. Owner will make all reasonable efforts to re-rent the Rental Property by the Check-In Date. We encourage you to buy travel insurance at the time of booking in the event you must cancel and forfeit funds. Travelex offers several different types of travel insurance. Pets and children
Las Casa del Pocito cannot accommodate pets. The house is not appropriate for children under the age of 12 because of the unfenced pool.

Reservations and payment Reservation requests must be submitted by completing the Reservation Request form. A 50% deposit of the rental amount is due within 5 days of notification by Casa Pocito confirming the dates and reservation request. The remaining 50% balance is due three (3) weeks prior to arrival at Casa Pocito. In the event that your reservation is for a period occurring three (3) weeks or less prior to arrival date then payment is due in full, including the security and cleaning deposit. All confirmed reservations are also subject to a refundable security and cleaning deposit. [see below] Specific instructions regarding deposits, a simple agreement, a receipt for deposits and restatement of cancellation policies will be emailed to clients upon confirmation of a reservation. Length of stay During the Low Season we accept rentals for 3 nights. During High and Holiday peak seasons rentals are by the week only, with a 1 week minimum stay.
